Pay By Check
To pay by check, please contact us at info@theaapc.org so we may generate an invoice for you. Payments must be received by the early bird and advance rate deadlines, not postmarked, to receive prevailing rates. Once your registration has been received and processed, a confirmation email will be sent to you with receipt of payment.
Press Policy
Members of the Press may register for the Pollies on a complimentary basis (i.e., professional reporters, journalists, editors, writers, news photographers, producers and online editors) who work for a publication, news service, broadcast outlet or news site that is regularly issued and published primarily for the dissemination of news. Press credentials will be verified. A Press pass will provide access to all Conference educational sessions and luncheons, but no evening functions or the Caucus-only sessions. Should you wish to attend the full conference, including the Pollie Awards Gala Dinner, please register as an attendee.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing via info@theaapc.org. A processing fee of $75 will be charged for cancellations received by February 11, 2026. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after February 11, 2026. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Substitutions are welcome in lieu of cancellation anytime. A substitution of your full registration is permitted prior to the conference by submitting a written request to info@theaapc.org. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.
Please note, there are no refunds for AAPC Foundation contributions, Golf Tournament tickets or Foundation Fundraiser event tickets as these are fundraising activities in support of AAPC’s 501(c)3 Education Foundation, however; tickets are fully transferrable. Receipts for tax purposes are provided.
Privately Hosted Events Policy
AAPC prohibits the scheduling of sponsored or by invitation only events marketed to AAPC attendees that conflict with official Conference functions and/or detract from AAPC’s sponsorship program, unless explicitly agreed to in writing with AAPC. To learn more about becoming an official sponsor of the 2026 Pollies, please click here.
AAPC Hotel Booking Policy
AAPC incurs a significant financial responsibility when arranging for a discounted block of guestrooms at the Pollie Conference host hotel, including lowering costs for our attendees. Therefore these discounted rooms are available for and may only be used by registered attendees of the 2026 Pollie Awards & Conference. Holding more than one room per registered attendee and canceling reservations after February 11, 2026 infringes on the ability for AAPC to meet our contractual requirements that also benefit our delegates. Only one reservation per registrant is permitted and group reservations are not permitted. Rooms are subject to a cancellation fee if reservations are canceled after February 11, 2026.
AAPC reserves the right to cancel hotel reservations without notice for anyone in the discounted block who is not registered to attend the Conference. The only approved housing provider of AAPC’s discounted block of attendee rooms for the 2026 Pollie Conference is the Omni Amelia Island Resort. The Omni Amelia Island Resort will not call or email you to solicit room sales. If you are contacted by a different housing provider, please inform Beckie Souleymane at bsouleymane@theaapc.org. Booking through a non-approved housing provider infringes upon AAPC’s ability to meet our contractual obligations with the Omni Amelia Island Resort.
Photo Liability
AAPC plans to take photographs at the AAPC Pollie Conference and reproduce them in AAPC educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the AAPC website. By participating in the AAPC Pollie Conference, you grant AAPC the right to use your name, photograph and biography for such purposes. All postings become the property of AAPC. Postings may be displayed, distributed or used by AAPC for any purpose.
AAPC Member Registration Policy
To be eligible for reduced member pricing, your AAPC membership must be current through March 31, 2026.
Individual, Associate, Academic, Non-Profit, Young Professional and Student AAPC memberships are non-transferable. In order to be eligible for a discounted member registration fee, the individual registering must be the same individual who retains the AAPC membership. Platinum and Gold members may register individuals at the discounted member registration rate who are on their company membership roster. If you have any questions about your membership status or wish to upgrade to an organizational membership (Platinum or Gold), please contact us at info@theaapc.org or 703-245-8020.
Anti-Harassment and Professional Conduct Policy
The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) is committed to upholding the highest standards for respectful, professional norms and behavior and to fostering an inclusive climate. Consequently, harassment and unprofessional behavior at AAPC events is considered to be a serious form of misconduct. The Anti-Harassment and Professional Conduct Policy modeled closely on the American Political Science Association and Midwest Political Science Association Anti-Harassment Policies, outlines expectations for all who attend and participate in AAPC events and meetings. Read the full policy here.
⚠️ Important Notice About List Scams
We have been informed of a scam circulating via email from a third party attempting to sell a contact list of AAPC members. The AAPC will never offer to sell our member contact list and/or attendee lists for AAPC events through a third party and the scammers have no member or attendee information.
Scammers may also attempt to pose as association members to solicit money. If you or your organization has received a fraudulent email asking you to purchase an AAPC member contact or attendee list, or if you have received an email from someone posing to be an association member soliciting money, please file a fraud report and notify info@theaapc.org.
To file a fraud report, follow the steps below:
