AI is beginning to reshape individual relationships among voters, campaigns, institutions and government—but what happens when those changes begin interacting? This session pulls back from individual technologies to examine how AI may affect common knowledge, political communication, campaign responsiveness and the ways citizens engage with political decisions. As these relationships begin to change, what do we need to understand now to recognize their broader effects on democratic politics by 2028?
