Jason Roe was born into the Michigan GOP. His father, Jerry, served as Executive Director from 1969-79, where he met his mother, also a state party staffer, giving Jason a unique perspective on the state’s politics.

Jason was the lead strategist for Congressman Tom Barrett’s 2024 win, one of just five seats to turn blue-to-red, and an advisor to Michigan House Republicans, the only chamber to flip in 2024.

A former congressional chief of staff, Roe was also Deputy Campaign Manager for Mitt Romney’s first presidential run, and National Media Spokesman for Marco Rubio in 2016.
