Travis Tunis is the Sr. Vice President at Fabrizio, Lee & Associates and Fabrizio Ward, LLC. He provides clients with actionable recommendations based on data insights and works with clients’ communications and marketing teams to translate his experiences into creative solutions needed for a winning campaign.
Tunis played a significant role on all three of Donald Trump’s Presidential campaigns. In 2016 and 2020, he oversaw the Polling operations and worked to manage the polling and research teams. Tunis provided specific recommendations and analysis to the campaign on reaching target voters that proved crucial in key battleground states. He was also the lead pollster in a number of key states. In President Trump’s most recent successful campaign for President, Tunis served as Deputy Pollster under lead pollster Tony Fabrizio, working with the senior leadership of the campaign to develop strategy, message, and outreach decisions that ultimately led to President Trump winning all seven target states and the Presidency.
He got his start in politics working on Rick Scott’s 2010 successful gubernatorial campaign, helping the then-political unknown to pull out razor-thin victories in both the primary and general elections against well-established opponents. Since then, Tunis has been involved in the opinion research operations for numerous successful political campaigns, including Senators Rand Paul (KY), Marsha Blackburn (TN), Ron Johnson (WI), J.D. Vance (OH), Bernie Moreno (OH) and Jim Justice (WV). Tunis has also worked on successful independent campaign expenditure efforts for the RGA, NRSC, NRCC, Congressional Leadership Fund, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Tunis graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Master’s in Demographics. He lives in Boca Raton, FL with his wife Stephanie, their 3 children – Bradley (10), James (8), & Caroline (4), and their dog, Liberty. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find Travis attending one of his kids’ many sports games or practices, reading about history, or rooting on his Seminoles.
