Speaker Bio
Myles Bugbee, founder of Persuasion & Pixels, is an award-winning digital media strategist who advises agencies and causes on paid media effectiveness. He has more than a decade of experience leading and advising digital programs.
During the 2024 cycle, he was a senior advisor to the DCCC's first-of-its-kind digital mobilization program, which helped to narrow the GOP's House majority. He also developed a digital-first media plan that helped boost Measure A in Los Angeles County from 47% support in the first LA Times poll to winning by a 58-42% landslide, securing a $1 billion annual fund for homelessness services and affordable housing. This innovative media plan was awarded "Best Overall CTV Plan - Democrats" at the 2025 Reed Awards.
In 2023, he led digital paid media for Red Wine and Blue’s IE. Before starting his own agency, he was VP of Digital Strategy and Analytics at AL Media, where he led digital paid media for Gov. Katie Hobbs, House Majority PAC, and Stacey Abrams, the national digital director at For Our Future, and managed the digital team for Sen. Jon Tester’s 2018 reelection campaign.
Bugbee and For Our Future won a 2021 Reed Award for "Best Use of Humor in an Online Video (IE)" called “Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote Naked,” a video designed to remind Pennsylvania voters to use the secrecy sleeve before mailing in their ballots. During the 2018 cycle, he pioneered using selfie-style user-generated testimonial videos in political paid social ads. These localized and affinity-targeted ads known as “Testermonials” generated thousands of shares, amplifying organic reach beyond paid impressions.
