Manny Garcia is a co-founder of Seeker Strategies, a Black- and Brown-owned communications and advocacy firm addressing the most pressing issues in Texas and across the country. He has nearly twenty years of experience in communications, policy, and politics, including his tenure as executive director of the Texas Democratic Party and director of policy for the Mexican American Legislative Caucus of the Texas House of Representatives. He is the first-ever graduate of the Mexican American Studies Master's program at UT Austin. He grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, on the U.S.-Mexico border, and when not working the press is most often found grilling a steak or smoking a brisket.
