Joanne Pickrell is one of Ohio’s go-to experts in developing and implementing successful advocacy and grasstops mobilization strategies. For a range of corporate and public affairs clients across various sectors and issues – including health care, education, tech, energy and the environment – she builds, sustains, and manages diverse coalitions who take strategic actions to influence public opinion and policy initiatives. Her “whose voice is missing from this conversation” approach ensures diversity and inclusiveness in her public affairs work.

She has also served as a senior advisor to statewide issue advocacy organizations in Ohio, including For Our Future Ohio, Protect Our Care Ohio, and NextGen Climate Ohio. Prior to joining Remington Road Group, she founded Broad & High Partners, a Columbus-based public affairs firm.

Joanne holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The George Washington University. She currently resides in Bexley, Ohio with her husband Aaron and their two daughters and serves on the Bexley Board of Education.
