Molly O'Shaughnessy is President and CEO at the Democratic polling firm EMC Research, with 20 years of experience providing strategic guidance and public opinion research to campaigns, brands, and public agencies.

Molly has advised campaign clients including the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, former Blue Dog Caucus chair Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Congressman Mark Takano, the Texas AFL-CIO, as well as decades of state and local ballot initiatives and municipal campaigns. Based in Columbus, Molly has led polling for statewide and local ballot issues and candidates, as well as the Ohio Environmental Council, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, Central Ohio Transit Authority, MetroHealth, and the Ohio BMV.

Molly’s research for social marketing and policy efforts - studying behaviors like energy conservation, public transit ridership, online privacy, drug use, and pickleball - brings breadth and depth to her work and the understanding of voter decision making.

Molly holds a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Columbus native and serves on the Board of Directors for the Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation.
